1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Linkfeed (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use linkfeed.in, the creator dashboard, and related services (the “Service”). It should be read with our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

Account & profile

• Username, bio text, avatar URL, and profile settings
• Default redirect and per-video link destinations you configure
• Profile link chips (titles and URLs)
• Contact email if you provide one for support or billing

TikTok connection

• When you authorize TikTok login, we receive identifiers and profile fields TikTok exposes via its APIs (such as TikTok user id, display name, avatar, and video metadata needed to sync your grid)
• Access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted and used only to sync content and maintain your session with TikTok’s APIs

Usage & analytics

• Public bio events such as profile views and outbound link/video clicks (including approximate timing, referrer, and user-agent)
• Hashed or truncated network identifiers may be used for abuse prevention; we do not sell raw IP addresses
• Dashboard product analytics to understand feature usage

Technical data

• Cookies or local storage for authentication and preferences
• Device/browser information and diagnostic logs

3. How we use information

• Provide, operate, and secure the Service
• Sync TikTok videos and render your public bio
• Resolve redirects and measure click performance for creators
• Communicate about the Service, security, and policy updates
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations
• Improve product quality and develop new features
• Comply with legal obligations

4. How we share information

We may share information with:

• Service providers — hosting, databases, email, analytics, and security vendors under contractual confidentiality
• TikTok — as required to authenticate and sync via their APIs under your authorization
• Public visitors — content you publish on your bio (username, bio, videos, chips, and destinations they open by clicking)
• Legal & safety — when required by law, to protect rights, or in a merger/acquisition with appropriate safeguards

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies/local storage for login and security, and may use analytics cookies to understand site performance. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling essential cookies may break the dashboard.

6. Data retention

We keep account and profile data while your account is active. Click analytics are retained for a limited period needed for insights and abuse prevention, then aggregated or deleted. Encrypted TikTok tokens are retained until you disconnect or delete your account, subject to backup cycles.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), encrypted storage of TikTok tokens, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. International transfers

We may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms and contractual protections.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to / restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@linkfeed.in. You may also disconnect TikTok or delete your account from the dashboard when available.

10. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the applicable digital consent age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us to delete it.

11. Third-party links

Your bio may send visitors to third-party sites. Their privacy practices are their own. This Policy does not cover those sites.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy and will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in product or by email when appropriate.
